As of July 1, private Florida businesses that employ 25 or more people will be required to implement and use E-Verify, the federal online system that confirms U.S. work eligibility. Businesses who fail to comply with these newly enacted standards for new hires may face fines of up to $1,000 a day and revocation of state licenses.
With immigration policy debates continuing nationwide, Florida is the latest state to expand E-Verify requirement, heightening the business imperative for better understanding compliance implications.
Join this informative webinar that will review key components of Florida Senate Bill 1718, its mandates, exceptions, and immigration impact for business owners and leaders.
