Meital Stavinsky, a shareholder in the Government Law & Policy and Israel practices at the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig, will serve as co-chair for the Entrepreneurs on Tap program – a series of quarterly meetings presented by the American Friends of Tel Aviv University.
The first meeting was held this week in conjunction with eMerge Americas 2015 Conference in Miami Beach, for which Greenberg Traurig is a founding sponsor. The next meeting will be in September, although a date and location have not been set. Check back here later this summer for details.
“I am excited to be a part of this event and to introduce some of Israel’s most successful innovators to the South Florida, U.S. and Latin America business markets,” Meital said. “Greenberg Traurig is steadfast in its commitment to serve as the bridge between Israel and the business communities of the Americas.”
According to a survey conducted by the Seattle-based venture capital research fund PitchBook, Tel Aviv University is the ninth most entrepreneurial campus in the world. The survey was conducted on approximately 13,000 entrepreneurs from around the world, finding that Tel Aviv ranks ninth for the amount of alumni that go on to become entrepreneurs.
