On Dec. 12, 2014, Greenberg Traurig hosted the Israeli Mobile-Health Tech NYC Investor Breakfast in its New York offices. Organized by the Government of Israel’s Economic Mission to North America, New York Office, the breakfast meeting included an overview of the mobile health industry and five-minute investment pitches by visiting Israeli companies followed by short Q&A sessions.
The Israeli delegation included 12 healthcare IT companies: Eco-Fusion, HeraMED, LifeGraph, MediSafe, Medivizor, Opisoft Care, PhysiHome, SonoPal, Sweetch, Telesofia Medical, Vaica and VoiceITT. The technologies pitched were wide-ranging, including applications for healthcare business intelligence and big data analytics, psychiatric treatment, medication management, pregnancy monitoring, athletic performance to avoid injury, portable ultra-sound, pre-diabetes prediction, patient education, and improvement of voice communication for those with disabilities. About 30 investors and strategic partners attended the breakfast to meet the Israeli companies.
