GT Tel Aviv was pleased to host a group of students from Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law as part of their trip to Israel. The group, which included first, second and third year students, as well as LLM candidates from a number of foreign countries, was organized by itrek, a program that enables students from top law schools to visit Israel, learn in person about the country’s democratic legal system, and meet with leaders shaping Israeli society.

The group’s visit to GT’s Tel Aviv office was led by Shareholder Meira Ferziger, a Northwestern alum (’94). Meira addressed the law students and provided an overview of the local legal landscape, as well as information regarding GT’s unique presence in Israel and the opportunities for foreign attorneys working in Israel. Following a Q&A session, Tel Aviv Associate Kate Sapirstein, who led an itrek trip as a law student, addressed the group and spoke about her career path and recent move from New York to Tel Aviv. The group then enjoyed a light Israeli lunch and were joined by additional GT Tel Aviv attorneys Lawrence Sternthal, Devora Snyder-Shefer, Deborah Lotstein, Igal Rojzman and Eran Levy to learn more about the GT Tel Aviv technology, employment, real estate and corporate practices.
