Next week, Greenberg Traurig’s Tel Aviv office will be honored to host Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City and current global chair of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Crisis Management Practice and Senior Advisor to firm Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum.
In addition to a number of high-level meetings during his time in Israel, Giuliani will be speaking at the following events:
- On Sunday, March 13th, the World Jewish Congress will be honoring Giuliani at a gala dinner. Present at the dinner will be Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat as well as a host of prominent politicians and senior business leaders. Gary M. Epstein, Managing Shareholder of the Tel Aviv Office, will also be addressing the audience.
- On Monday, March 14th, Greenberg Traurig will be hosting a conference for General Counsels, Chief Information Officers and Compliance Personnel titled “The Crossroads of Cyber & Security: Where the Business and Law of Cyber & Security Meet.” In addition to a keynote address to be delivered by Giuliani, there will be a panel of specialists speaking on the topic that will be moderated by Keren Elazari, a senior researcher at the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center at Tel Aviv University. Panelists include GT’s Alan N. Sutin, Chair of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice, and Senior Chair of the Global Intellectual Property & Technology Practice; Omer Shalev, General Counsel at EL AL Israel Airlines Ltd., and Senior Partner at Gross Orad Schlimoff & Co.; Amit Ashkenazi, Legal Advisor at the Israel National Cyber Bureau (INCB); and Gadi Tirosh, Managing Partner of JVP Jerusalem. Tel Aviv Shareholder Adam Snukal will also address the audience on the topic of “Four Legal Development in Cyber that should be on your Radar.”
- On Tuesday March 15th, Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva (known to be Israel’s Cybersecurity capital), will be hosting Giuliani for a discussion on cybersecurity. The discussion will be attended by students of the university and members of the Cyber Together, a non- for- profit organization aimed to promote the data security sector in Israel.
