OurCrowd 2016 - Greenberg Traurig, Bob Grossman On Jan. 25, 2,400 investors and leaders of the burgeoning start-up scene in Israel braved a rare snowy day in Jerusalem (just days after the east coast of the U.S. was itself covered in snow) to attend the OurCrowd Global Investor Summit.  Greenberg Traurig was proud to be a platinum sponsor of this successful event, and Shareholder and Israel Practice Co-Chair, Bob Grossman spoke at the opening session of the event and discussed the impact of OurCrowd on Israel, portfolio companies and investors, as well as Greenberg Traurig’s unshakeable commitment to Israel and its experience helping Israeli companies succeed, including startups, and helping them develop into mature or more mature companies. Fellow speakers at the opening session included representatives from the Coca-Cola Company, Samsung Ventures and the Honda Silicon Valley Lab.

Later that morning, Israel Practice Co-Chair, Tel-Aviv Managing Shareholder, and Global Corporate & Securities Practice Senior Chair, Gary Epstein spoke at a panel titled “Taking it to the Next Level with Greenberg Traurig” that consisted of key ecosystem players discussing how to effectively take a startup to the next level. Also sitting on the panel were members of Israel’s sophisticated venture capital world, a number of whom Greenberg Traurig has worked closely with in recent years. In reflecting on the groundbreaking event, Bob Grossman noted that “we are proud to have such a close relationship with OurCrowd and to have been the major law firm sponsor of such a successful and amazingly well–attended event, especially considering the weather both in the United States and Israel. This event was a shining example of OurCrowd’s success in bringing Israel to the rest of the world and the rest of the world to Israel as it connects the Israeli and global ecosystems.”
